Trisha Khalid and Woods have officially taken their relationship to the one place breakups fear the most: the tattoo studio.

Because apparently being publicly in love, posting each other and giving the internet enough relationship content to keep busy was not permanent enough. So the couple decided to put it in ink.

Trisha and Woods have unveiled matching tattoos, and honestly, nothing says “this is serious” quite like voluntarily allowing another human being to stab you repeatedly with a needle in the name of romance.

Some couples exchange rings. Others write each other long paragraphs at 2 a.m. Trisha and Woods apparently said, “Cute. But can we make this medically irreversible?”

And of course, fans had thoughts.

The reactions came in thick and fast, because Kenyan fans will support your relationship, analyse your relationship, investigate your relationship and, if necessary, prepare the PowerPoint presentation explaining your relationship — all without being invited.

Some fans were screaming couple goals, while others looked at the matching tattoos like people who have seen enough relationship history to know that love is beautiful but ink removal is expensive.

Still, you have to give it to them. The two have clearly decided that their love deserves a permanent souvenir.

At this point, Trisha and Woods aren’t just saying “we’re together.” They’re saying, “Please, even if you forget, our skin remembers.”

And honestly, that is commitment.

Because when your partner says, “Let’s get matching tattoos,” you have two choices: question everything or simply lie down and let the tattoo artist become the third party in your relationship.
